Before using the KareLynk website or submitting an application or service request, please read the service scope and arrangement principles below.
KareLynk provides non-emergency escort support and health-related travel coordination. These are not ambulance, emergency-care, medical-diagnosis, treatment, nursing, insurance or doctor-booking services. If there is immediate danger, acute symptoms or a need for emergency care, call 999 or seek appropriate medical assistance.
Submitting a form is only an application or service request. It does not guarantee acceptance, staffing availability or the establishment of a service contract. After reviewing the information, the team may ask for further details. The service scope, date, charges and other conditions are subject to the quotation you accept and subsequent confirmation.
You must make your best effort to provide accurate, complete and current information, and ensure that you are authorised to provide information about accompanying people or family members. Notify us promptly of changes to important health, mobility, communication or safety needs. Incomplete or inaccurate information may affect assessment and service arrangements.
Within the confirmed scope, escorts may accompany someone, help with registration, waiting and medicine collection, provide general non-clinical communication support, and give authorised family updates. They do not provide diagnosis, medical advice, medication management, clinical procedures, manual lifting or unsafe transfers, and do not guarantee any clinical outcome.
The current basic escort fee is HK$180 per hour, with a minimum booking of 3 hours and a minimum service fee of HK$540. Overtime is charged at HK$90 per 30 minutes. An urgent-booking surcharge of HK$100 applies to bookings made less than 24 hours before the service starts. Third-party transport, parking, tolls and approved expenses are itemised in individual quotations. A request is not service confirmation: service is established only after you accept the itemised quotation and operations explicitly confirms it. Full payment is generally required before the escort arrangement is confirmed, except for institutional post-service payment arrangements approved by the owner. Any additional charge requires your separate agreement.
For cancellation more than 24 hours before the service starts, no KareLynk service charge applies; only confirmed, non-refundable third-party costs are deducted. For cancellation 4 to 24 hours before the service starts, up to 50% of the KareLynk service component and non-refundable third-party costs may be charged. For cancellation less than 4 hours before the service starts or a customer no-show, up to 100% of the KareLynk service component and non-refundable third-party costs may be charged. If KareLynk or the assigned provider cannot deliver a confirmed service, no cancellation fee applies to that service and amounts received for it will be refunded. Operations may waive cancellation fees for unexpected hospital admission, a medical emergency, hospital rescheduling or exceptional hardship. Each quotation retains the applicable policy version.
